Dr. James T. Jennings is a seasoned primary care physician with over a decade of executive leadership experience in healthcare. His roles in leadership have been as diverse as the patients he encountered in family medicine. He specializes in clinical quality outcomes, provider well-being, and innovation, achieving significant improvements in healthcare efficiency and patient care quality. As an Executive Medical Director at Norton Healthcare, he has spearheaded initiatives that reduced readmissions, optimized EHR systems and improved MIPS deciles. He led an Intergovernmental Transfer effort resulting in hundreds of millions in payer bonuses. Dr. Jennings holds an MBA and has been recognized for his expertise in team leadership, quality improvement, and professional mentorship.

Dr. Jennings has served as the state medical director for their physician health program, the chair of the delegated credentialing committee, chair of the policy, procedures and privileges committee, and the chair of the EHR (Epic) optimization committee. In addition to these roles, he has served as an executive medical director for quality, well-being and innovation and overseeing the professional and scholastic development of providers and students in the system.
