Michael Lalor, MD, MBA, CPE, FACHE, HMDC, FAAHPM, FAAPL, is the Chief Medical Officer of Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem, NC., and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wake Forest University. As a member of the Senior Management Team of his organization, he provides clinical leadership and oversight to all agency functions. He works to expand the value of clinical services and to enhance the delivery of care to patients. He is directly responsible for the supervision of the organization’s medical providers and pharmacy services.
Currently he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association for Home and Hospice Care of North Carolina (Education and advocacy for Home Health, Home Care and Hospice/Palliative Care agencies). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the SECU Family House (Family and Patient services) and the Board of Trustees of the Hospice and Home Care Foundation of North Carolina (Grants and Charitable activities).
Dr. Lalor earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and his MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Management from West Texas A&M University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. and is board certified on Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
A passionate leader, Dr. Lalor is a Certified Physician Executive, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a Fellow of the American Association for Physician Leadership. He is an alumnus of the Leadership College of the North Carolina Medical Society.
